How was everyone’s bonfire night? Did you go out to see any fireworks or did you stay inside like us? We did want to go and see our town’s firework display but thought we’d better stay at home with the puppy in case he got scared. He was actually fine with them – he slept through most of it as he’d had a busy day and then we brought him into the living room with us. And as a special treat he got to lie across us on the sofa – he was so excited to be allowed up for once!
I managed to get all 3 cats inside just as the fireworks started and kept them in until nearly 11pm. They were prowling about by this time dying to get out but I didn’t want them to get hit by a firework or something! There is a big field behind our house and loads of people were setting off fireworks from there – some of them were actually hitting our conservatory roof!
Yesterday afternoon we went up to our bike manufacturer’s in Manchester for a visit. Chester came with us to visit the girls in the office. He absolutely loves going there, he gets to run around the bike showroom trying to eat bits off the bikes lol…!
Handsome Boy!
Chester & his Auntie Kay sitting on a go-kart!
Tired out, but tail still wagging!
PS- If you went to see any fireworks and took some pics – leave me the link to your post in the comments and I will visit & enjoy your lovely fireworks – cos I didn’t get to see any last night!!
PPS – X Factor tonight!! This has GOT to be Wagner’s last week…. Pleeeeeeease!!

Well Wagner went on to have a few more weeks – but now we can relax – he has left the building! yes – agree re fireworks – our dogs hate them and we make sure all are inside, safe. Well safe until Wagner sang – that DID distress them! lol! Nice to meet you
We went to see the Frodsham one, it was really good! (sorry if this is rubbing it in as you didn't get to go to one!) The bonfire was pretty big for the small field and we had to move away from it in the end as I felt like my face was beginning to melt! I only got some pics on my phone (boyf took his big fancy camera but forgot the battery!) so I will probably post them on my blog at some point. Can't believe fireworks were hitting your roof – that would have terrified me!
Sorry – pressed submit halfway through a sentence! Was going to say I love your puppy – he's just gorgeous. I'll be back to visit often now I've found you! Caroline x
Hi Nic – finally had a chance to come over and have a read through some of your posts. Have really enjoyed them, and I LOOOOVE

I didn't go to see any fireworks, I totally forgot it was fireworks night!
