Chick With Sticks

Yes, I am now officially a “chick with sticks”. In other words, I have decided to start knitting! After a visit to the fabulous Black Sheep Craft Barn yesterday I am now prepared with some lovely chunky wool & my needles to make a winter scarf. I did fancy making a red one but there was no nice red wool, and I fell in love with this teal colour!

I haven’t knitted anything since I was about 8 so I will keep you all posted with my progress! Has anyone any knitting tips for me..?! ;) x PS – The picture makes the wool seem really blue, but it is more greeny-blue in real life!

Oh I LOVE this colour! I am not great at knitting :( I get a bit impatient if it doesn't "grow" quick enough :D xx

I'm so jealous, I did knitting in primary school but I've forgotten it all. I'd love to learn again and have tried but I just can't get my head round it!

That's so cool, I'm about half way through my scarf at the moment! I've done it, one row plain, one row purl and the scarf is curling around…the next one I'm going to knit plain so it doesn't curl. That's the only tip I can think of for you! Have fun! I'm loving it!
