#BEDN – The Great Outdoors

holly chester run water march 13 (Small)

I was never really an outdoorsy person until I got the dogs! I walk them EVERY day, rain, hail, snow or shine. And I LOVE it. I love getting outdoors, especially when I don't feel like it, as 99% of the time I feel a million times better for going outside and spending time with my dogs. My favourite walks are long walks on the beach or in a forest. Of course, the dogs love it too! :) Some pics of them enjoying their walks: … [Read more...]

#BEDN – Motivations

jess winter sun (Small)

I struggle immensely to get motivated. Some days I just want to stay in bed and hide from the world, but luckily I have 5 hungry animals who need me! They are 100% my motivation - to get up in the morning, to earn money to buy them food, toys & treats and to be able to take them nice places on holiday. And now that I have started my dog walking/pet sitting business (Cheshire PAWS), it motivates me knowing I am heading to look after or walk someone else's beloved pet. I would love to … [Read more...]

#BEDN – Day in The Life

pups wigg (Small)

The nature of my work means that every day is different (thank goodness). Here I have given a little snapshot of what my day was like yesterday: 7.30am - Rise & Shine. Usually woken up by 1 or 2 cats sitting on top of me awaiting their breakfast! Feed the cats & dogs. Shower. 8.30am - First dog walk of the day or exercise DVD. 10am - Breakfast (I find having it a bit later means I don't need a mid-morning snack before lunch time!) 10.30-12.30 - Check emails, computer work, … [Read more...]

Suzi Swift

ready to tow (Small)

I first introduced you to Suzi Swift over a year ago. Yes, she was sitting in our back garden unloved & unused until our trip to Anglesey at the end of August. We finally got our acts together & just decided to go away in her. Ready to tow! I actually drove some of the way - it was fine! We were waiting until we got the seats re-covered but let's face it, I'm not good on the sewing machine, and even though the fabric is here it's just never going to happen! We just used some … [Read more...]

My Favourite Place…

...Anglesey. Pictures of our recent trip to Anglesey. Not many words needed. Except one question - if you love somewhere so much & keep going back does it eventually lose it's "specialness"? I hope not. … [Read more...]

post circle (Small)

... I have a few things I have been wanting to post about for a while, but can't seem to find the words to convey what I'm trying to say. Sometimes I find it easier to write in a notebook, and then transfer it onto the computer - the words seem to flow a lot easier. Maybe I will try that. In the mean time, instead of leaving you with radio silence I will give a little round up of what has been happening here: I have been really busy with my market stalls - they take a load of organising, … [Read more...]

Happy Stuff :)

pups anglesey (Small)

After my rather depressing post last week I thought I would take a few minutes out of my day (hope Gary's dinner doesn't burn!) and let you all know what has been making me smile recently: We went to my favourite place yesterday for a quick trip - Anglesey. I love this place - the pups and I had a good explore around while Gary was fishing. We are going to see Man of Steel in the cinema tonight - love trips to the cinema, especially on 2 for 1 night! It is a lovely sunny day & I … [Read more...]
