Last Sunday night we got word that Gary's dad had had a heart attack, had stopped breathing for 12 minutes & was on a life support machine in hospital. Bam. Gary hadn't spoken to his dad for a variety of reasons for about 10 years but obviously it was still a shock. We headed up to Scotland to see him on the Monday after hearing he had had 3 more heart attacks within 12 hours. Double bam.
